Tyler Owen is based in Warrnambool, Victoria. He is a third generation Australian Champion and won his first Australasian Title at just 11 years of age.
He competed in karting for several years in classes ranging from Junior Light, Junior National Heavy to Rotax and has had multiple podium finishes in Off Road and Speedway Racing.
Tyler has also recently completed the 2008 CAMS Driver Development Course at the Australian Institute of Sport.
He came to everyone’s attention during his debut season in 2007 by exceeding expectations as he finished in the top third of the field in 90% of the events. He also raced in three SuperSeries events in 2008.
Tyler’s ambition is to progress to the Australian V8 Supercar Championship Series, the most popular motorsport category in Australia, and then to NASCAR in the USA.
